Lin has always been interested in the power of the therapeutic touch and while still working in the City qualified as a Reiki Master. Then, when she retired early from her job in the City, she took the opportunity to go back to college to train as a reflexologist. Once qualified she then embarked on further training in Hopi ear candling, Indian Head Massage and upper body massage, qualifying in each therapy. ‘I can’t envisage a more different career than my City job’ she says. ‘I get tremendous satisfaction from this work and love to see the beneficial effect my treatments have on my clients. I have never felt as appreciated in my work as I now do and I look forward to continuing this work for many years, helping people the way I know best.’
Lin works with her husband, Brian and their business is based in Chislehurst, Kent on the borders of Kent and South-East London. ‘Only yesterday’, she continues, ‘one of my regular clients, who had just received his weekly reflexology treatment, took over fifteen minutes before he was ready to get off the couch after treatment and explained that he just wanted the treatment to go on forever! Another client said that, following treatment, she found that she had had the best night’s sleep for weeks and that her irritableness had disappeared (much to her son’s relief!) Another said that she felt I knew instinctively just what was needed to ensure the optimum benefit for her. Another that I had helped her through her difficult pregnancy, another that I gave them invaluable ‘me ‘ time and so on……..’

Masseur and Therapist (Dip. Hawaiian Massage)
Brian has studied and is qualified in several forms of massage, but Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage is the one in which he specialises. He has studied this form of massage over a period of many years with Rosalie Samet, the UK’s leading practitioner and trainer, and now holds a full practitioner’s Diploma in Hawaiian Massage.
Other therapies that Brian is qualified to practice are – Upper Body Massage, Indian Head Massage and Hopi Ear Candling.
Before taking early retirement, Brian worked in a major financial institution in the City of London and then for a leading American software company selling software to international banks. In these capacities he travelled the world extensively and during these travels he developed his knowledge of and taste for various forms of massage. Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage became and remains his favourite style and led to the abovementioned training in the UK.
Hawaiian Lomi Lomi is essentially a luxurious, spiritually and physically enriching full body massage but Brian offers a variety of shortened massages in a similar style for those wishing a gentle progression to the full experience.
