What is it?
Reflex areas on the foot approximate to the body’s anatomy so a gentle pressure massage to the feet stimulates your pressure points. This helps to balance body and mind to work in harmony and unison.
How?
You will rest comfortably, fully clothed, on a therapy couch and the treatment starts by relaxing both feet with a gentle massage for five minutes before the reflexology treatment actually begins. If you have a particular health problem eg high blood pressure, constipation, stress or perhaps you are in some sort of pain I work additionally on those areas of the foot. I finish with a 10-minute foot massage with foot cream, which my clients describe as simply heavenly. If you don’t float out of the room after treatment – you will be the first. My treatments last 60 minutes – longer than most other reflexology treatments you can find elsewhere. Even then I find that my clients never want me to finish!
and after?
The treatment helps you to have a feeling of well being and optimum health. It helps to de stress, de-toxify, and leaves you with a sense of peace. To benefit fully, it is better not to eat a heavy meal or take alcohol straight after your treatment. It is also advisable to drink plenty of water to help detoxification.
Who should come for treatment?
Everyone can benefit from this treatment (unless you are suffering from varicose veins or DVT). Some examples of this are if you are stressed or perhaps you want to lose weight, you are pregnant or are suffering from aches and pains.
